CHICAGO-Command Transportation LLC, a Skokie-based freight brokerage company, is expanding its headquarters situated at 7500 Frontage Rd. The firm, which employs nearly 235 people, is adding 10,500 square feet to its headquarters.
According to Paul Loeb, CEO of the firm, expansion is expected to be complete by next fall. This additional space will accommodate 40 to 50 people. Command had purchased the 20,000-square-foot building at 7530 Frontage for $1.7 million in 2008. The building was pulled down for the expansion. For the full story, go to Crain's Chicago Business.
