CHICAGO-A Cook County Circuit Court has dismissed a foreclosure lawsuit filed by RBS Citizens N.A. on a 160-unit Edgewater apartment complex owned by Kopley Group Inc.
The lender filed the lawsuit on July 20, 2010 to claim $7.8 million on its $8.4 million mortgage on the property located at 6801-15 N. Sheridan Road in Chicago. The lender also filed two more lawsuits against the developer on September 30, 2010, to claim $2.45 million on its $4.23 million loan. For the full story, go to Crain's Chicago Business.
