
DETROIT-Kroger is planning to reopen its Grosse Pointe store located at 16919 Kercheval St. on November 14. The store was originally opened in November 1940 and was closed due to renovation work, said the president of Kroger of Michigan, Rick Going.
The retailer has spent nearly $15.8 million to renovate the 22,000-square-foot store. It has expanded its basement area and improved displays, fixtures and new products and services. Kroger will use the basement for preparing food and other works. For the full story, go to The Detroit Free Press.
