HOUSTON-Transwestern and Page Partners have launched a new joint venture to expand the firms’ retail leasing and management assignments. Dubbed Transwestern Page Retail Management LLC, the venture will operate as a strategic partnership between the two organizations.
“Transwestern has a strong retail management platform in different markets around the country,” says Chip Clarke, president – Gulf Coast and Mountain Regions for Transwestern. “Some of our most profitable deals have been retail, and with the new venture, we’re trying to supercharge our program.”
Clarke tells GlobeSt.com the seeds for the partnership have been planted over several years. “We’ve admired what they’ve been able to do, and when we thought about who has the best retail brand in Houston, we thought of Page Partners,” he says. “They lead the market in terms of tenant advisory and agency leasing.”
Page Partners provides retail real estate consulting and brokerage services in Houston including tenant site acquisition, project consulting and leasing, land sales, income property sales, and excess space disposition. However, the firm lacked a property management platform, according to Clarke.
“We’re bringing the best of what we do on the property management side to complement what Page Partners does,” Clarke explains. “The partnership will allow us to bring additional value and services to our clients. We feel like there is a real need, particularly in the Houston marketplace, to provide a holistic solution for retail property owners.”
