RIDGECREST, CA-Barnhart Balfour Beatty has completed construction of the two-floor, 170,000-square-foot Weapons and Armament Technology Center, now recognized as the Dr. William B. McLean Laboratory. The $63.8-million center is located at the Naval Air Weapons Station in China Lake and features completely equipped office work areas and a 335-seat conference room.
It has also a 700-vehicle parking lot. The structural, electrical, mechanical and plumbing design and consulting services for the project was provided by KMA Architecture & Engineering. For the full story, go to San Diego Business Journal.
