
LAS VEGAS-Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, the $3.9-billion casino that is scheduled for opening soon will face operations under struggling market conditions.
The 2,995-room resort will have to post superior performance over top performers such as Bellagio and Caesars Palace, even to cover its debt. The interiors of the Cosmopolitan comprise video-screen columns and moving art to welcome visitors in the lobby, a three-story chandelier, 13 restaurants and rooms with private terraces.
