LOS ANGELES-The city of Glendale is beginning to establish its projected arts and entertainment district. Construction of the proposed plan for the Museum of Neon Art as well as a mixed-use development for recreation purpose will start next year.

There is also an unconfirmed proposal for a Laemmle Theatres and for another mixed-used development. The district would run along Brand Boulevard and Maryland Avenue.
