MADISON, WI-The Madison City Council will likely vote on a plan to demolish six University Avenue buildings to make room for a six-story retail and residential project. The project, suggested by the Mullins Group, would include an 8,600-square-foot retail space and 130 residential units.
The project, which amounts to nearly $20 million, would include redevelopment of 2500 block with commercial space, town homes, apartments and a parking lot. If approved, the project would begin in late spring and end in 2012. For the full story, go to The Business Journal of Milwaukee.
