SAN FRANCISCO-AMB Property Corp. has leased approximately 390,280 square feet of its AMB Chabot Commerce Center. This lease stabilizes Building 2 at the facility in Tracy, CA.
“AMB acquired this value-added asset in July of 2010 and we are extremely pleased to have stabilized it so quickly,” explains Kim Snyder, managing director of the west region. “With this transaction, we are expanding our relationship with a key global customer who leases from us in multiple markets.”
The customer, a leading consumer electronics retailer serving the US and Canada, will use the distribution center to service its Northern California customer base. The facility, located at 2300 Chabot Ct., has ready access to I-205, I-5 and US99, which are the primary routes for supplying product to the region.
AMB tells GlobeSt.com that it cannot give out terms of the deal. It also could not reveal the tenant’s identity at this time.
