NEW YORK CITY-The 115th Annual Real Estate Board of New York Banquet, held at the New York Hilton this past Thursday, brought the customary array of real estate and political celebrities to the festivities. Among the latter were Sen. Charles Schumer, Mayor Michael Bloomberg, State Senate Majority Leader Dean Skelos, State Attorney General Eric Schneiderman and City Council Speaker Christine Quinn.

“For 115 years this has been and continues to be real estate’s biggest night of the year,” REBNY president Steven Spinola says in a statement. “There was a special energy and excitement this year, especially after the difficulties of the last few years. I sense a real readiness in the industry to move forward with exciting new projects, deals and investment that will help New York charge forward and maintain its stature as one of the greatest cities in the world.”

Following a pre-dinner VIP reception, this year’s honorees at the annual awards ceremony took their turns in the spotlight. Photos of each honoree appear in the accompanying slide show. (Photos by Steve Friedman)
