EVENT OVERVIEW:

The panel will discuss public private transit oriented development in the context of the new HUD, DOT and EPA partnership for sustainable communities. In anticipation of Wyandanch Rising (see below), and other emerging transit oriented opportunities, the panel will start with a summary of the current regulatory climate, and then discuss creative solutions to common obstacles in these deals - from financing to parking and zoning to community support.
