SAN DIEGO-A new suit has been filed by local environmentalists calling the U.S. Navy to conduct another environmental study before starting the Navy Broadway Complex development in downtown San Diego. Navy Broadway Complex Coalition has filed the lawsuit in U.S. District Court.

It is the second suit filed against the project. The project, called Manchester Pacific Gateway, was accepted by the Navy in 2006. The development would comprise a Navy headquarters building, 1,500-room hotel, retail space, commercial offices and underground parking. For the full story, go to San Diego Business Journal.
