AUSTIN, TX-Hillwood Development Co.'s residential division will start selling properties in Rocky Creek Ranch off Hamilton Pool Road next month. Hillwood Communities had bought the 468-acre property close to the 4,700-acre Shield Ranch Nature Conservancy out of foreclosure.
Kerby Development LLC, the previous developer, discontinued a $40 million plan for constructing hundreds of homes. Hillwood is offering homes less expensive than the last developer. Homes will range between $320,000 and $600,000.For the full story, go to Austin Business Journal.
