CHICAGO-Wal-Mart is opening its first urban-oriented Neighborhood Market in the West Loop location. It will open the 26,491-square-foot store at the Presidential Towers apartment building at 555 W. Madison St.

Until now, no opening date has been fixed for the $1-million store, which will be constructed by 75 to 100 workers. The new Wal-Mart store will have a bakery and a deli, a pharmacy and will sell various products. Half of the store will be dedicated to groceries.For the full story, go to Chicago Sun Times.
