
NEW YORK CITY-The average value of the 30-year fixed loan has dipped below 5% this week. According to Freddie Mac, the average value for 30-year fixed mortgages dropped from 5% to 4.95% this week, and the average value for 15-year fixed home loans slipped from 4.27% to 4.22%.
The average value for a five-year adjustable-rate loan dropped from 3.87% to 3.80% and the one-year adjustable home loans increased from 3.39% to 3.40%. For the full story, go to Chicago Sun Times.
