LOS ANGELES-Borders Group is closing its three local superstores as part of its Chapter 11 bankruptcy restructuring process. The three local stores are a 24,184-square-foot store on Ventura Boulevard in Sherman Oaks; a 40,000-square-foot store on South Brand Boulevard in Glendale; and a 24,731-square foot store at the Westfield's Valencia Town Center in Valencia.
