NEW YORK CITY-Edward Minskoff, the president of Edward J. Minskoff Equities Inc., is planning to start construction of a new office building in the city. Minskoff will begin construction on a Maki and Associates-designed tower measuring 430,000 square feet on a site viewing Astor Place.

The new project will be called 51 Astor Place. Minskoff bought the site from The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art for $90 million in 2007. The development will be ready in Q1 2013. For the full story, go to Wall Street Journal.
