DENVER-Boston-based GID Urban Development Group has restarted construction of an apartment building in downtown Denver. The developer is planning to complete the Manhattan II development by August 2012.
The $32-million project is part of a master-planned community known as Riverfront Park. GID and an institutional pension fund bought the 236-unit Manhattan I in 2005. They planned to add 134 units, but waited due to the collapse of housing and financial markets.
