CHICAGO-Residents from Lincoln Park have reproved a redevelopment plan of a former hospital site. The Sandz Development Co. has proposed for 20,000 square feet of Fresh Market store, nearly 160 residences and a medical office building on a three-acre site located at Lincoln and Webster.
Some residents mentioned about last week's ballot which showed 56.6% of voters were against the office, retail and other commercial development in the lot. Ald. Vi Daley is planning to take the project before the Zoning Committee.For the full story, go to Chicago Sun Times.
