NEW ORLEANS-MetLife Inc. has listed One Shell Square, a 51-story skyscraper at the corner of St. Charles and Poydras Sts. in New Orleans, for sale. The owner is looking to sell the property for approximately $130 million or about $100 per square foot.
The 1.3-million-square-foot skyscraper was designed in the international style by Skidmore, Owings and Merrill. Shell Oil Co., a division of Royal Dutch Shell PLC, has leased space in the building and its lease will expire in 2016.For the full story, go to Wall Street Journal.
