NEW YORK CITY-Joseph Moinian has filed redevelopment plans with the Buildings Department to replace a five-story Midtown building with a 34-story hotel. The DOB, which is still examining plans for the hotel designed by Gene Kaufman, has already approved the application of Moinian to demolish the building at 237 W. 54th St. situated between Eighth Avenue and Broadway.
The proposed 34-story structure will have a restaurant on the ground-floor space and hotel rooms in the remaining floors.For the full story, go to New York Post.
