NEW YORK CITY-Freddie Mac has said that the average value for 30-year fixed loans declined from 4.95% to 4.87% this week. The average value for 15-year fixed home loans slipped from 4.22% to 4.15%.

Mortgage rates have dropped this week succeeding lower yields on the 10-year treasury bonds. The average value for five-year adjustable-rate mortgage declined from 3.80% to 3.72%, and the average value for one-year adjustable-rate home loans reduced from 3.40% to 3.23%.For the full story, go to Chicago Sun Times.
