LOS ANGELES-UCLA is planning to construct a $160 million hotel-conference center on its campus in Westwood. The proposed development will include a hotel consisting of 282 rooms, a faculty club and a conference center.
For the development of the six-story building, UCLA would use a $100 million donation received from Meyer Luskin and Renee, and the rest of the amount from the sale of bonds. Construction is expected to begin within a year and will be completed in late 2014. For the full story, go to Los Angeles Business Journal.
