ATLANTA-Annapolis Junction-based Thayer Lodging Group has signed a contract to purchase Hotel Palomar Atlanta-Midtown, a 21-story, 304-room hotel with a 10,000-square-foot meeting space, from WP Partners. The purchase amount of the deal was not revealed.

Thayer will rename the brand to The Renaissance Atlanta Midtown. The Renaissance group of Marriott International will manage the hotel. Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants LLC, which holds the Palomar name, will also rename its AltoRex Rooftop Lounge and Pacci Ristorante as part of the purchase.For the full story, go to Washington Business Journal.
