NEW YORK CITY-King's College is transacting with the property owner to renew and expand its space on the lower floors at the Empire State Building to 60,000 square feet. The college currently occupies 50,000 square feet on the lower levels and the concourse of the building for classroom and administrative offices.

The Christian liberal arts college's lease in the building, operated by Anthony Malkin's W&H Properties, expires in 2012. Its negotiations with the landlord could be closed by summer.For the full story, go to New York Observer.
