WASHINGTON, DC-After almost two years of arguments and alterations to meet the demands of Loudoun County supervisors, proposed plans for a mixed-use community development in the Route 28 corridor have moved to approval. The community, known as Dulles World Center, will comprise 4.1 million square feet of retail, hotel, civic and office space and 1,265 multifamily apartments.
The development was approved by a 7-2 vote by the Board of Supervisors. It will come up on an 82-acre site in Fairfax County. For the full story, go to Washington Business Journal.
