PHOENIX-Calgary, Alberta-based MDC Property Service Ltd. has acquired Ridgeview Plaza, a 130,600-square-foot shopping center at 2822 - 2910 N. Power Drive in Mesa, for an amount of $14.6 million. Scottsdale-based Bryan/Moore Development LLC had owned the property, but it defaulted on a loan and filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy.
Hannay Investment Properties brokered the deal as a court-appointed receiver. Various tenants such as Basha's, Big 5 Sports, Leslie's Pool Supplies, Chase Bank and Starbucks occupy space in the center.For the full story, go to Phoenix Business Journal.
