CHICAGO-Wal-Mart Stores Inc. is planning to open two small-format stores in the West Englewood neighborhood. The two South Side projects include a Wal-Mart Express store located at Western Avenue and 71st Street and a Neighborhood Market located at Ashland Avenue and 76th Street.
The Wal-Mart Express measuring less than 30,000 square feet will be opened in January 2012 and the Neighborhood Market measuring nearly 40,000 square feet will be opened in the spring of 2012.For the full story, go to Crain's Chicago Business.
