PHILADELPHIA-Bakers Square, a shopping center measuring 220,000 square feet in Philadelphia, will house a ShopRite supermarket. Metro Development Co., the developer, will start construction on the proposed center at the old Tasty Baking Co. site on March 25.
The shopping center, which will come up on a 30-acre site, is bounded by Fox Street, Roberts Avenue and West Hunting Park Avenue in the city. ShopRite will occupy a 71,000-square-foot store, which will be managed by Brown's Super Stores.For the full story, go to Philadelphia Business Journal.
