CHICAGO-Chick-fil-A and Hooters are opening restaurants along Golf Road near Woodfield Mall in Schaumburg. Atlanta-based Chick-fil-A Inc. has purchased a 9,988-square-foot building at 935 E. Golf Road from an associate of Inland Real Estate Corp. for $2.1 million.
Chick-fil-A plans to turn the building into a 4,500-square-foot restaurant. A week before the chain's purchase, Noble Properties of Greenacres bought the Hooters restaurant site at 1110 Perimeter Drive for $2.6 million and signed a sale-leaseback deal for 20 years with Hooters Inc.For the full story, go to Crain's Chicago Business.
