ABERDEEN, MD-Presbyterian Home of Maryland Inc. has dropped its proposal to build a retirement community worth $125 million in Aberdeen, Maryland. The company now decides to sell the proposed 138-acre land. Presbyterian Home plans to construct the continuing care retirement facility outside of Aberdeen but somewhere in the Hartford County.
The withdrawal of a legislation that would have allowed a 100% property tax break for the project by the Harford County Del. Mary-Dulany James prompted the company to drop the proposal.For the full story, go to Baltimore Business Journal.
