CHICAGO-An associate of IDB Group has purchased the Barneys New York store situated on Oak Street from a joint venture of two developers based in Chicago. The company has acquired the six-story, 112,037-square-foot structure at 15 E. Oak St. from Fred Latsko and Mark Hunt for $117 million.
Since late September, the property, where Barneys holds a lease for 15 years, had been in foreclosure. Anglo Irish Bank sued the developers to collect an unpaid $93-million loan.For the full story, go to Crain's Chicago Business.
