WASHINGTON, DC-PN Hoffman Inc. has purchased the Verizon Building spanning 33,240 square feet at 1401 R St. NW for an amount of $4.67 million with plans to turn the existing building into condominiums. The five-story, $12.5-millilon condo project, designed by Eric Colbert & Associates PC, will have 34 condominiums, a retail space and a penthouse.
