NEW YORK CITY-According to Freddie Mac, the average rate on fixed loans that extend for 30 years increased to 4.91% in the latest week when compared to the previous week value of 4.87%. The 15-year fixed loans' average rate also rose to 4.13% in the latest week compared to 4.1% of last week.
The average rate of five-year adjustable-rate loans increased to 3.78% in the latest week when compared to previous week value of 3.72%.For the full story, go to San Jose Mercury.
