MINNEAPOLIS-Big Lots, a discount retailer based in Columbus, Ohio, is purchasing empty retail sites in the Twin Cities to open three new stores in 2011. According to the Star Tribune report, the retailer intends to establish stores at Tamarack Village in Woodbury, Eagan Town Center in Eagan and Dunkirk Square in Maple Grove.
