KANSAS CITY-Walgreens will open a new drugstore measuring 11,700 square feet at Town Center Plaza close to Roe Avenue and 117th Street in Leawood. The new store is smaller than the average size of Walgreens stores in the metropolitan regions. The new store will sit on the former Yahooz/Coyote Grill restaurant site spanning 58,600 square feet.
