MINNEAPOLIS-Minneapolis Public Schools has commenced construction of its new headquarters building in North Minneapolis. The $36 million worth headquarters at 1250 W. Broadway Avenue is slated for opening in 2012 summer. Once completed, the school will shift its 570 employees into the new headquarters. At present, they are working in four different buildings.
