KANSAS CITY, KS-The Kansas City Planning and Zoning Committee voted in favor of the proposed project to build the seven-floor Country Club Plaza office tower. Highwoods Properties Inc. is the developer of the project.

According to City Councilman Bill Skaggs, the approval paves the way for Polsinelli Shughart PC to reinvest in the development at Broadway and 47th streets. The City Planning Commission previously rejected the proposal in February 2011.For the full story, go to Kansas City Business Journal.
