The property is the old Yankee Diner site located on 24th Avenue Northwest south of Market Street. Ballard Hotel LLC planned to develop a 170-room, six-floor hotel on the site, which it purchased in 2007.

Ballard Hotel failed to repay the loan it took in 2007 from the bank. The scheduled date for the trustee sale is July 22, 2011.For the full story, go to Seattle Times.
