NEW YORK CITY-Freddie Mac reported that the average rates of both 15-year and 30-year fixed-rate loans decreased in the latest week ending April 21, 2011. For the latest week, the average rate of 30-year loan decreased to 4.8% from 4.91% of the previous week, while that of 15-year loan decreased to 4.02% when compared to previous week value of 4.13%.
The average rate is also decreased for one-year adjustable rate loans to 3.16% in the latest week when compared to last week value of 3.25%.For the full story, go to Washington Business Journal.
