CHICAGO-A venture of Don Wilson, the new owner of the two-story Midwest Bank building at 1601 N. Milwaukee Ave. in Bucktown, is requesting a zoning change to include retail shops at the site. Wilson's venture assumed control over the 15,500-square-foot property through a foreclosure from a venture led by Jon Goldman at CG Development Group LLC.
The city's zoning committee gave preliminary approval for the change, and the entire City Council will vote next week for zoning change. For the full story, go to Crain's Chicago Business.
