NEW YORK CITY-The town board of New Castle has scaled down the proposed plans for 114-acre Reader's Digest site in Chappaqua. Greenfield Partners and Summit Development purchased the property seven year ago for $59 million and planned to construct 348 condominiums as well as town houses on the site.

Early this month, the board gave permission to build only 111 condominiums and town houses on just 31 acres of the 114-acre property. For the full story, go to New York Times.
