CHICAGO-Bankers Life & Casualty Co. has subleased its 220,000 square feet of space in the 600 W. Chicago Avenue complex to Groupon Inc. Bankers Life is shifting its operations to the Illinois Center office tower located at 111 E. Wacker Drive in the East Loop, where it has inked a 134,724-square-foot lease for 12 years.
With this subleasing deal, Groupon has now expanded its headquarters space to 340,000 square feet representing over 20% of the 1.6-million-square-foot complex. CB Richard Ellis negotiated the deal.For the full story, go to Crain's Chicago Business.
