Understanding the real estate tax appeals process has become a necessity for property owners and investors in Florida. This seminar will focus on upcoming deadlines for appeals, an update on recent legislative changes and case law, a review of non-residential/residential values in the past year, as well as anticipated values for the coming tax year. The speakers will also discuss property positioning strategies on how to obtain tax reductions and issues relating to certain types of properties such as agricultural/greenbelt exemptions, lots held for development, and homes with Chinese Drywall.
