KAHULUI, HI-R.D. Olson Development, a hotel developer based in Irvine, has started construction of a Courtyard by Marriott-branded hotel in Kahului City, Maui. A&B Properties is the owner of the 3.4-acre site on which the 138-room, four-floor hotel is being constructed. The two companies are the co-developers of the project.
The $16.5 million hotel is slated for opening in the beginning of 2012. It will be Maui's first Courtyard by Marriott hotel.For the full story, go to Orange County Business Journal.
