LA PORTE, TX-Trans Gulf Transportation has expanded its facility in La Porte. The new 28-bay cross-dock facility, which measures 10,000 square feet, is located at 501 Independence Parkway South within six miles of the Bayport container terminal of Port of Houston.
Trans Gulf bought the 10-acre parcel in 2006 in order to move from a smaller location in La Porte. The logistics company relocated to the new location in February 2010. The project was carried out by T&T Construction and CRB Construction.For the full story, go to Houston Chronicle.
