SAN DIEGO-Illinois-based Shell Vacations has purchased Park Manor Suites, an 82-suite hotel on Spruce Street in San Diego, for $11.5 million. The seven-story property, located across from Balboa Park, was built by Frank P. Allen Jr. in 1926.
A trust created after the death of Stanley Earl Willis II in 2004 was the seller. The hotel contains two restaurants and the size of the rooms ranges from 525 square feet to 1,100 square feet. CB Richard Ellis handled the deal.For the full story, go to The San Diego Union Tribune.
