CHICAGO-The owners of Willis Tower, previously called the Sears Tower, are seeking an investor or a buyer to aid recapitalize the office building. The Willis Tower, a 4-million-square-foot building on South Wacker Drive in Chicago, owes $780 million in debt.
A group that includes the Moinian Group' Joseph Moinian, the Chetrit Group's Joseph Chetrit and Chicago-based American Landmark Properties Ltd. purchased the 110-story building for approximately $900 million in 2004.For the full story, go to Crain's Chicago Business.
