HONOLULU-Property Development Centers, a subsidiary of Safeway Inc., has acquired 20 acres of site from Laulani Village Holdings LLC with plans to develop the Ewa site into the Laulani Village Shopping Center. The company will develop the site to accommodate 210,000 square feet of retail space.

The site will have retail spaces varying from 2,000 square feet to 4,000 square feet. A new Safeway store will occupy roughly 60,000 square feet at the site. For the full story, go to Pacific Business News .
