WAXAHACHIE, TX-Superconducting Super Collider, an uncompleted project in Waxahachie, is up for grabs. The government-supported research facility, located south of Dallas, was partially built in the early 1990s.

Real estate investors purchased the property for $6.5 million in 2006. The group has hired New York-based Newmark Knight Frank to sell the partially constructed project to potential buyers. The real estate firm is working along with Hunt Ventures on the trade. The Super Collider project comprises eight buildings totaling over 200,000 square feet.
